I use a professional DAW for maximum comfort and freedom in editing. All cuts are done with crossfading to make them "invisible", which also allows me to fix mistakes and stutters mid-word and ensure maximum clarity. Mixing intros, mid-rolls and outros is done with carefully placed fade ins and outs so nothing feels too sudden and out of place, volume is controlled with automation, and effects are used where needed.
